Purpose & Fields Covered

Funding Details

• Amount: Between R6,000 and R30,000 depending on eligibility and need.
• Payment Structure:
  1. Half is paid directly to the institution upon approval.
  2. The remaining half is released once the student passes mid-year exams or course requirements.
• Since this is a partial bursary, applicants must have another source of funding to cover the rest of their expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet these requirements:

1. Residency: Minimum five years living in Knysna.
2. Education: In Matric or completed Matric.
3. Program: Undergraduate degree in eligible fields (no postgraduate funding).
4. Academics: At least 50% average.
5. Funding: Must show proof of additional funding.
