Kropz Elandsfontein is a South African company responsible for processing and mining rock phosphate. Located in the Western Cape, the Elandsfontein mine hosts the country’s second-largest phosphate deposits, supporting sustainable agricultural practices. Kropz’s operations aim to strengthen food security and contribute to South Africa’s mining sector, with support from the African Rainbow Capital (ARC) fund.

The bursary is open to students residing within the Saldanha Bay Municipality (Western Cape) and pursuing tertiary studies in the following fields:

Who Can Apply

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Reside within Saldanha Bay Municipality, Western Cape
  
• Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  
• Minimum of 65% in English and Mathematics
  
• Intend to study in one of the eligible fields in 2026
  
• Enrolled at an accredited South African university or college
  
• Not receiving any other bursary award
  
• Not related to any Kropz employees, contractors, or business partners
  
• Preference given to candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds and preferred study fields

The bursary provides financial support for:

• Prescribed textbooks
