Who Can Apply
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be South African citizens by birth
- Have completed an undergraduate degree
- Be registered to study towards a postgraduate degree (Honours, Masters, or Doctorate) in one of the specified fields
- Be enrolled at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Pursue a study subject that supports SANSOR’s vision and mission, benefiting the seed industry
- Not be in receipt of any other government funding (candidates must disclose all other government funding received)
What the Bursary Covers
The SANSOR Bursary provides financial assistance to cover:
- Tuition fees
- Registration and examination fees
- Study materials and textbooks
- Living expenses
Bursary recipients will receive funding directly into their university accounts in two tranches. The bursary is awarded for one year at a time, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory academic progress and the submission of acceptable progress reports from both the student and their academic supervisor.

- Certified copy of your degree certificate (if available)
