The bursary will cover the following study-related costs:

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Accommodation
• Book and meal allowance
• Laptop
• Medical aid insurance

Students will also have the opportunity to gain practical experience through paid vacation work during university holidays.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and required to complete a psychometric assessment and a medical report before final selection.

Eligibility Requirements for the Hulamin Bursary

Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be from a previously disadvantaged background
• Must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
• Must be studying or intend to study an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields
• Must meet the entry requirements of the chosen field of study
• Must be entering 1st to 4th year of undergraduate study in 2025
• Must be studying or accepted/registered at a recognised and accredited South African university
