ABOUT THE SANDO TRUST BURSARY – FIELDS COVERED

The Sando Bursary Trust invites students to apply for funding for the 2026 academic year.

Bursaries are available to students living in the Western Cape, for studies in ANY field at a recognised institution.

Candidates will be selected based on financial need and academic potential.

Selected students will receive personalised financial assistance and mentoring support, tailored to their circumstances.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SANDO BURSARY TRUST BURSARY

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must reside in the Western Cape
• Must be currently in Matric or recently completed Matric
• Must be entering 1st year of study in ANY field in 2026
• Household income must be below R50 000/month or R600 000/year
• Must have a minimum average of 60% in Matric final or mid-term results
• Must not have a criminal record
• Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students, but all high-performing applicants will be considered
