About the Heribert Nasch Bursary Programme – Fields Covered

The Heribert Nasch Foundation is inviting students to apply for their bursary for the 2025 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for studies in any field towards:

• Undergraduate degrees
• Master’s degrees
• Second degrees

The bursary will fund studies at:

• University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
• Durban University of Technology (DUT)

To date, the foundation has sponsored more than 100 students, offering both financial assistance and mentorship.

Eligibility Requirements for the Heribert Nasch Bursary

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Must have completed Matric with at least 70% average in final exams
• Must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate, master’s, or second degree
• Must be enrolled at UKZN or DUT
• Must have a household income of less than R90 000 per annum
• Must commit to living in the accommodation provided by the foundation (for mentoring and evaluation purposes)
