What is The Eligibility Criteria For Mpumalanga Bursary?

- The applicant must either be currently studying Matric or have already completed it.

- Students pursuing engineering qualifications should have attained a minimum of 60% (or level 5-7) in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English.

Documents Required and The Application Process For Mpumalanga Bursary

- Certified copy of your ID documents
- The applicant’s parents or guardian’s proof of income (affidavit if unemployed, payslip certified copy, and death certificate if deceased)
- For individuals with disabilities: documentation confirming disability from a registered medical doctor/clinic/
- Certified copies of previous academic qualifications
- Evidence of residence in Mpumalanga (certified copy of utility bill)
- For the residence of CRDP municipalities, a stamped letter confirming residence from the local municipality’s CRDP coordinator is required.
- For the current Matric students, you must include the following documents:
- Certified copy of June results
- Submission of final Matric results in January of the following year
- Proof of acceptance/provisional acceptance/registration from a tertiary institution (to be submitted by December 18, the latest)
- Matric final statement of exam results (to be submitted as soon as available in January)
- For current tertiary students:
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- Current tertiary academic result
- Submission of final end-of-year results when available
