Application Process

The ABSA Bursary application process is slightly complicated for students who have never applied online for a bursary before. They need proper guidance in order to apply in the right way and get a confirmation letter from the bank. Step 1: Click on the link and it will take you to the official website of the ABSA Bank.

Step 2: Scroll down and you will see multiple options. Find “ABSA Bursary” and click on the “Apply” button.

Step 3: It will take you to the ABSA Leafly website. Here, you need to create an account if you do not have one or advance forward if you already created an account.

Step 4: Provide all the details to create an account and click on the “Next” button.

Step 5: It will send an OTP to your email address, mention it on the website and your account will be created.

Step 6: Fill in all the bars, and attach the required documents.

Step 7: Submit your application, it will send you a confirmation mail to your email address that your application has been received.

ABSA Bursary criteria are strict, so if you do not get financial assistance it means that you do not fall under the criteria. In case you fall under the criteria and still your application is denied, you can contact the ABSA Bank to know the reason why your application is rejected. Lastly, provide all the authentic and certified documents; otherwise, you may face a court trial.

What Expenses Does ABSA Bursary 2025 Cover?

Tuition Fee: The primary issue for a student is to afford the hundreds of rands tuition fee. The majority of the students cannot afford the tuition charges; therefore, they stop studying.
