About the Bursary Provider – PG Group

Founded in 1897 in Cape Town, PG Group is Southern Africa’s most recognized name in glass—producing, installing, and distributing automotive glass, architectural aluminium, and glass film solutions. The group includes PG Aluminium, PG Primador, PFG, PG Glass, PG Building Glass, Shatterprufe, LLumar Films, PG Africa, and Widney Transport Components.

Undergraduate degree studies in:

• Chemical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering

Who Can Apply

Applicants must:

• Be South African citizens
• Have completed Matric with a minimum 70% overall
• Be full-time students toward one of the listed Engineering qualifications
• Have been in first year in 2023 and achieved ≥65% overall in that year
• Be studying at a recognized South African university (not distance/open learning)
• Intend to pursue a career in Chemical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering

What the Bursary Covers & Selection

The bursary covers tuition, books, stationery, residence-rate accommodation, living allowance, and vocational work. Recipients receive financial and developmental support throughout the programme, and may be considered for PG Group graduate employment after graduation.
