The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is the official regulatory authority responsible for overseeing the architectural profession in South Africa.

Fields Covered
The SACAP Bursary Programme is inviting students to apply for their 2026 academic year funding.The bursary is available for students studying Architecture (undergraduate up to Honours level).
Eligibility Criteria To Get The Bursary
You must meet the following minimum requirements before applying. Failure to meet all criteria will result in your application not being considered:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must have completed Matric.
- You must be studying towards an Architecture qualification.
- You must be entering your 2nd year or later (up to Honours) in 2026.
- You must be studying at an accredited Architectural Learning Institution in South Africa
- Household income for students without disability must not exceed R350 000 per year
- Household income for students with disability must not exceed R600 000 per year
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups
