The trust was basically established to empower black women in South Africa by providing bursary awards to assist them in pursuing tertiary education. They assist young women with impressive academic achievements who might otherwise be unable to pursue higher education due to financial constraints.

SEDISA Trust funds only help these students who are enrolled in the fields funded by them. Therefore, black female students who are enrolled in the following fields are eligible to apply:

What are the Expenses Covered by the SEDISA Trust Bursary?

The bursary will cover tuition fees, textbooks, and accommodation expenses. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to interview with members of the SEDISA Trust. However, if you haven’t received any response to your application within two weeks of submission, consider it unsuccessful.

Eligibility Criteria & Application Process For SEDISA Trust Bursary

SEDISA has set particular eligibility criteria that every applicant must satisfy before applying for the bursary. The following are the qualification criteria for the SEDISA Trust Bursary:
