Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Westfalia Fruit Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must be in Matric or have completed Matric.
- You must be studying or planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the listed fields.
- Students from local communities may also apply for community-benefit fields such as medicine, nursing, or teaching.
- You must be accepted or provisionally accepted to study at a recognised and accredited University, University of Technology or TVET College in South Africa.
- You must maintain a good academic record.
- You must demonstrate financial need.
- Preference will be given to applicants from communities surrounding Westfalia Fruit operations.
Required Documents
All applicants must upload clear and certified copies of the following documents when submitting the online application:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric mid-term results, if currently in Matric
- Certified copy of Matric certificate, if completed Matric
- Certified copy of recent academic results, if currently studying
- Proof of residence, such as a municipal letter or a letter from a Tribal Authority
