The Langeberg Municipality is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2026 academic year.
Bursaries will be awarded to students residing within the Langeberg area (Western Cape) for studies in the following fields:
- Administration
- Audit
- Building / Construction Management
- Civil Engineering
- Finance
- Integrated Development Planning
- Performance Management
- Town Planning
- Water Purification
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY BURSARY
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements (failure to do so may result in disqualification):
- You must reside within the Langeberg area (Western Cape)
- You must have completed Matric
- You must be studying full-time towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY BURSARY

Download and complete the Langeberg Municipality Bursary Application Form 2026 (PDF).
Application Method 2 (Collect Form):
Application forms may also be collected from your local municipal offices.
When asked “Where did you hear about the bursary?”, enter: Bursaries Portal.
Submit the following supporting documents (compulsory):
- Covering letter explaining why you are applying
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- Full academic record (on institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of residence
